Hi there, I'm Febryant, you also can call me Ebay.

I'm a Master student at Ehime University. I'm currently living in Matsuyama. Just like most student who study geosciences, my typical day varies quite a lot. If I'm away on fieldwork, my days tend to involve hiking to the site and collecting rock samples or mapping the geology and discontinuity patterns. Lately, I've been busy in laboratory work, preparing samples for making rock thin section and compiling my geological map. I tend to spend a lot of time reading textbooks and papers around my subject.

In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, listening to music, traveling and experiencing new and exciting adventures. Obviously, going into the field is a lot of fun. I get to travel to some really remote areas to get to my main field site. However, simpler things like getting to chat to a lot of like-minded people about science is really fun. There are a lot of opportunities to exchange ideas, and for the most part, people are really encouraging about your study.

Keep on doing stuff you find interesting and enjoyable and don't forget that sometimes hobbies and interests can be just as important as your academic achievements, especially if you want to work in the field!
